They arrive quickly and work excellent. I recently purchased the Makita 10.8v drill set. Now I can use higher quality drill bits and replace with new ones when needed. With no chuck, but a 1/4" quick drive instead, I needed a solution for my new light weight drill set. Not wanting to be tied down to hex shanked drill bits that can be hard to find in a pinch and are IMHO never very good quality anyway, I decided to give these a shot. The bits they came with are quite nice also. Check out the drill at Makita LCT203W 10.8-Volt 2-Tool Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit
Does exactly as stated and holds bits. Do not have to worry about bits slipping any more.
When you break or dull one, just swap it out for a fresh one. (Right)Hey, they work.
Love the system. Quick change in and out.Drill bits were an issue.
Some time ago I switched to 1/4" hex detent bits for almost everything. With luck you might find it as a single. Then I read about the Quick Change Kit by Snappy and my life changed.
You basically could get Ryobi bits in hex. When you broke one, you could by another kit to get that bit.
Just fine. I carry a supply of common drill sizes just for that.I am a Happy Camper.
